Image Comics Rushes Middlewest #7 Back To Print

The latest issue of Middlewest from Image Comics is getting a second printing after the book sold out at the distribution level. It certainly helped that the issue was released right after the series was nominated for the 2019 Eisner Award for Best Publication for Teens.
Written by Skottie Young and illustrated by Jorge Corona, Middlewest is described as “I Kill Giants meets classic Don Bluth and Miyazaki animations”.
Middlewest is a dark fantasy series following Abel, a young boy who must navigate an old land in order to reconcile his family’s history. It’s as charming as it is heartbreaking.
Middlewest #7 is currently available digitally through ComiXology, Amazon Kindle, and a number of other platforms. You might still be able to snag a copy of the first printing at your local comic shop. Otherwise, the second printing is set for release on Wednesday, June 26th, 2019. The final order cutoff date for comic shops is Monday, June 3rd, 2019.
