Cannon Busters is an action-fantasy that follows the adventures of robots and gunslingers who travel around in a coin-operated Cadillac Eldorado. Series creator LeSean Thomas started out in comics, transitioned into animation, and is producing his own anime. The anime’s development is outlined on his YouTube channel.
It’s wonderful to see an anime that returns to the roots of what made anime popular in the 90s, and as an African American its great to see black characters in a medium we all love.
