Erica Durance Joins “Crisis” As Lois Lane
by Erik Amaya
So just to recap, “Crisis on Infinite Earths” will feature the regular casts of The CW’s six supehero shows, three Supermen, at least one Bruce Wayne, and, now, two Lois Lanes.
Deadline reports Smallville star Erica Durance will reprise her role at Lois in the December Arrowverse crossover. She joins Elizabeth Tulloch as one of two Loises to appear in the story. Like her co-star Tom Welling, who will be in “Crisis” as Smallville‘s Clark Kent, a portion of the crossover will reveal what she has been up to for the last ten years. We also expect the story will note at least some of the recurring faces in DC television shows — Durance also took over the role of Kara’s (Melissa Benoist) mother, Alura Zor-El, in Supergirl‘s third season while Legends of Tomorrow star Brandon Routh will play both his regular character, Ray Palmer, and a Superman inspired by the Kingdom Come graphic novel.
Based on the legendary DC Comics crossover event by Marv Wolfman and George Perez, the Arrowverse “Crisis” will see the casts of Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Black Lightning and Batwoman assembling to challenge the threat of the Anti-Monitor (LaMonica Garret). The epic five-part story will begin in December, but conclude in January after The CW winter break and feature guest appearances from DC TV past like Burt Ward and Kevin Conroy.
The Arrowverse begins its new season on October 6th, but “Crisis” will begin on December 8th.
