Magical Girl Madoka is about a group of girls who again magical abilities after making a deal with a cute space alien. However, these abilities come at a deadly price. While it’s unclear whether this new anime is a direct continuation or an alternate reality the dark magical girl saga continues in Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story: Magia Record
Magia Record follows a new magical girl named Iroha Tamaki who’s searching for her missing sister, Ui, in the city of Kamihama. While in the city, Iroha meets Madoka who is searching for Homura in the city as well.
The Madoka Magica franchise has meant to much to me and many other anime fans. I hope that this new series gives a us a whole new cast of characters to fall in love with.
