MediEvil Remake Invites Players To ‘Change Their Perspective’

Sony Interactive and Other Ocean are getting ready to launch the remake of the classic PlayStation 1 title, MediEvil, later this October. With the release so close, they’ve been ramping up their information on the title, and recently released a trailer in their “A Bonehead’s Guide to Gallowmere” series.  This series aims to explain more of the game’s systems as well as some of the changes made to the game.
This second episode introduces us to the “Dan Cam”, an over the shoulder camera to help players who are more used to modern style gameplay, compared to the original’s almost isometric, top-down camera. Part two in a four part series, part one is found below, and delves into the importance of owning a shield in the game.

MediEvil has picked a rather rough time to release, as lately it feels like every other week a major title is hitting store shelves.  However, it’s still awesome that Sony respects their past enough to remake a title like this.  Xbox is busy ignoring single-player altogether in favor of trying to find the next major games as a service hit, but Sony seems content to release everything their fans want….and admittedly, sometimes what they aren’t even aware they want.
MediEvil releases on October 25th, exclusively for PS4.
