Brian Bolland Contributes Cover To Wagner And Cornwell’s Indie Comic Rok The God

We’ve let you know in the past about John Wagner’s indie title, Rok of the Reds and the follow-up Kickstarter series, Rok the God, now successfully funded. So, it makes sense to also give you a look at one of the crowdfunder’s promises; a Brian Bolland cover. A master of comics and comic book covers, a Bolland cover is something of a rarity these days, so to get him to contribute a brand new cover for this book is something of a masterstroke. But then, it’s who you know and John Wagner, the co-creator of Judge Dredd, knows a lot of people, as you can imagine.
Congratulations to both John and artist, Dan Cornwell, on their successful campaign – raising £28,655 all in all – that will see a new series of Rok the God debuting next year. Look out for both Wagner and Cornwall on the comic con circuit throughout next year too, where I imagine you’ll be able to pick up copies of the new series as they comes out.
