Your First Look At Superman #20 By Bendis, Reis, Prado And DC Comics

by Olly MacNamee

One of the biggest stories at the moment simply has to be the revelation of Clark Kent’s alter ego to the world in Superman #18. And yet, for some reason, it simply hasn’t captured  the interest I’m sure DC Comics would have hoped. Personally as a long-times Superman fan, I’m intrigued to see how this all plays out, and so I was happy to catch a first look at the upcoming Superman #20, out February 12th from Brian Michael Bendis, Ivan Reis and Joe Prado, with a variant cover by Bryan Hitch. But first, whatever problems that have been created by this historic event, he has to do battle with Mongul, who’s returned to cause havoc as only Mongul can.

The United Planets is a perfect, beautiful idea…that completely flies in the face of everything the barbaric Mongul has been fighting for his entire life. Mongol will destroy the United Planets and Superman with it. And he said something about using Earth as his toilet. Which doesn’t sound very nice. The return of one of Superman’s biggest and baddest villains…bigger and badder than ever!
