Oni Press editor-in-chief, Sarah Gaydos says:
Aggretsuko #1 selling out is what happens when you combine a great creative team with a super fun cast of characters. Meet me at the karaoke bar, first rounds on me!
Aggretsuko #1 is written by Daniel Barnes and illustrated by D.J. Kirkland. Based on the Netflix series of the same name, it follows Retsuko the Red Panda, a young office worker stuck in a thankless job. Her only stress relief is singing heavy metal at the local karaoke joint. She years for job satisfaction, adventure, the approval of her mother and even love.
Writer Daniel Barnes says:
This is wild! I’m so glad everyone’s snatching up Aggretsuko’s debut issue! It just goes to show you that Retsuko resonates with audiences, regardless of the medium she’s in!
Final order cutoff for both Aggretsuko #1 2nd printing and Aggretsuko #2 is Monday, February 17th, 2020.
