Legends Of Tomorrow Takes A Detour To Mr. Parker’s Cul-De-Sac In A Preview Of The Next Episode

by Erik Amaya

Like most of the Arrowverse shows, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is taking a one-week break next week. But when it returns, the team finds themselves in Mr. Parker’s Cul-de-Sac. Ray (Brandon Routh) is the affable children’s show host, but it seems both Nora (Courtney Ford) and Constantine (Matt Ryan) are caught up in something much more horrific. Is it some evil in John’s house? Is it the puppets? Or is it Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) pulling the strings?

Meanwhile, this week’s episode was a hoot, even if the program’s take on “Dangerous Habits” still feels like a bit of a bummer. Behrad (Shayan Sobhian) continues to impress, and we love the idea that he and Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) got together during the hiatus after Heywood. We also love that she is really Clotho, the Fate tasked with weaving destinies. It’s a wonderful origin for the character and a great new element to the season’s plot. Although, it struck us strange that there was no mention of the prison she escaped last year. Maybe it’s just a Post-Crisis realigning of her history, but we hope there will be more clarity as her sisters come into the story.
Also, it seems pretty clear Ray’s hope to marry Nora is the beginning of their endgame. We know they’ll depart from the story well before the end of the season and this seems like the opening moments of their final chapter. Hopefully, it all ends well and Ray finally gets to end an engagement with a wedding instead of loss.
Legends of Tomorrow returns March 10th on The CW.
