Thawne Returns On The Next Episode Of ‘The Flash’

The Crisis may be over, but plenty of its ghosts still remain. For one: Eobard Thawne is still lurking out in the universe. He’s possessed Nash (Tom Cavanagh) and with Barry’s (Grant Gustin) speed depleting, he may have to use unorthodox means to stop his nemesis. But is this the Reverse-Flash’s real plan?

Granted, who even knows if Thawne has a plan at this point. He’s seemingly disembodied, so taking control of Nash on a permanent seems like an important thing to do. But then there’s his stated desire to kill Barry and his assorted family and friends; a goal he’s not always dedicated to. Maybe he senses his temporal demise again and is just grasping at footholds.
Meanwhile, we’re not thrilled to see Kamilla (Victoria Park) get mirror-gunned like that. Hopefully, she’s still alive in the mirror world with Iris (Candice Patton). But if she isn’t, we suspect this is the beginning of Cisco’s (Carlos Valdes) permanent exit from the show. And considering he felt dissatisfied after being back in Central City for 18 hours, the fridging of his girlfriend will definitely send him packing.
Also, if this all Kamilla got to do in her 18 months on the show, then The Flash did her wrong.
