Marvel Teases Betrayals & New Allies ‘Empyre’

The build-up to Empyre, Marvel’s next big event is in full swing. We’ve already seen a slew of propaganda teasers from John Tyler Christopher. Marvel Comics is now releasing some additional teasers. The first hints at a hero’s betrayal in this promotional image from artist Mike McKone.
The second from artist David Nakayama says enemies must become allies. What could it all mean? Well, we’ll find out soon enough as Empyre #1 from writers Al Ewing & Dan Slott and artist Valerio Schiti is set for release on April 15th, 2020. The Kree / Skrull War enters a new chapter, this time with the two rival alien races as allies in a march towards Earth.
