What If Your Dad Is The World’s Only Hero, But A Rotten Parent? ‘Like Father Like Daughter’ #1 Previewed

Like Father, Like Daughter is a superhero comic similar in vein to Robert Kirkman, Corey Walker and Ryan Ottley’s Invincible in that it is the story of a father and his offspring. In this case, his estranged daughter, Casey Rider, who he abandon his family when she was much younger.
Written and created by Kathryn Calami with art by Wayne A Brown, there are 5 issues of the series currently available on Calami’s estsy page here, with preview of the first issue to give you a flavour of this superhero/family drama and how Casey copes – or rather doesn’t – when she realises she’s inherited her father’s powers.
Casey Ryder is the daughter of the only superhero in the world, Invulnerable. He’s beloved by many for his heroics, but Casey knows her father’s true colors. Invulnerable left his family to become a full time superhero when Casey was a young girl, and things get really complicated when Casey inherits her father’s abilities. What does she do with the very powers that made her father leave her family?
