‘Legends Of Tomorrow’ Return Trailer Offers A Glimpse Of Genre-Bending Madness

With the Loom of Fate nearly in someone‘s grasp, it appears the crew of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will have a big job ahead of them — surviving the genre-bending of the Fates. As glimpsed in this trailer for tonight’s return episode after a month-long hiatus, the Legends will find themselves flying though space in a 1960’s vision of the Final Frontier, taking another visit to Mr. Parker’s Cul-de-sac, and becoming Friendly on a popular sitcom. But will the team be able to face the college Greek system, their own temptations to use the Loom, and the forces of Hell while still saving the day?
Well … this is Legends, so they probably will. And we’ll probably have fun watching it all unfold.
Also, we can’t help but notice Zari (Tala Ashe) splitting in two during the trailer. Will there be room enough on the Waverider for both versions of her? Will there be enough snacks in the kitchen for the two of them?
Honestly, we’re glad the show is back to serve up its unique take on the DC Universe, genre TV, and family. Hopefully, they can keep us amused through what will be a long summer.
