Declan Shalvey Joins ‘Tales From The Quarantine’ Anthology
by James Ferguson
Red Cabin Comics is embracing the walled-in nature of our current situation with Tales from the Quarantine, an upcoming anthology comic featuring over 100 creators, helmed by Red Cabin CEO Frazer Brown. The project just added Declan Shalvey to the mix who will be writing and illustrating a piece.
Frazer Brown says:
Declan is an astounding comic creative. For Marvel, he has created some of the definitive looks of my favourite characters; his Moon Knight work is especially genre defining. His upcoming work on graphic novel BOG BODIES, from Image, looks like it’s destined to become a classic of the Noir Comics genre. I am grateful to all of the comic pro’s that have joined our charitable project and excited now to have Declan join Tales from the Quarantine, I can’t wait to see what he comes up with for the project.
Tales from the Quarantine explores the ides of isolation with a positive, philosophical, and sometimes humorous approach. The editorial team is bringing together the writers and artists to create one page, self-contained stories surrounding this theme. Planned for a Kickstarter launch, the book will first be sold digitally and then in print later this year. 100% of the revenue will be given to charities including Last Year’s Rent, CBLDF, and NHS. All of the creators are donating their time and talent to the cause.
