Timothy Olyphant To Appear In The Second Season Of ‘The Mandalorian’

by Erik Amaya

Now the question becomes, “Who didn’t shoot an episode of The Mandalorian?”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Justified veteran Timothy Olyphant will appear in the Disney+ original as an as-yet unrevealed character. Production wrapped months ago, so Olyphant’s scenes are already in an editing bay. He joins a remarkable cast of new recruits for the Star Wars show’s second year. Reportedly, Rosario Dawson will be the live action version of Star Wars: The Clone Wars favorite Ahsoka Tano. Temuera Morrison is also said to be taking on the roles of Boba Fett and Clone Wars character Captain Rex. Micheal Biehn is also joining the franchise in some capacity.
First season actors Pedro Pascal, Gina Carrano, Carl Weathers, and Giancarlo Esposito will also return as the story of Din Djarin (Pascal) takes him and his Force-sensitive child in search of answers. Well, we’re presuming that’s the plan anyway as Djarin is charged with protecting The Child until he can find its true clan.
Directors Dave Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Rick Famuyiwa are set to return with series creator Jon Favreau, Weathers, Peyton Reed, and Robert Rodriguez joining their ranks. And thanks to the fact production finished in February, the season will not be delayed. Expect it sometime in October on Disney+
