Square Enix’s Latest Game, ‘Project Athia,’ Announced Exclusively For PlayStation 5

Square Enix has revealed their latest new IP from Luminous Productions, the studio responsible for Final Fantasy XV. Referred to as Project Athia, it was shown off during “The Future of Gaming”, Sony’s PlayStation 5 reveal. More from the publisher below:

Project Athia is the culmination of Luminous Productions’ philosophy to create a completely new and fresh gaming experiences that fuses together the latest technologies with art. With the PlayStation 5, their vision truly comes to life, and with Project Athia you can look forward to being transported to a vast and detailed world filled with beauty and dismay.”
Not much else is known about this game, save that screenwriter Gary Whitta (The Book of Eli, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) has confirmed he and a collection of other writers from film, television, and fantasy literature were responsible for making this universe.
With no real name and no actual release date was announced; this game is probably a long ways off.
