DC Comics Offer Up An Early Look At ‘Nightwing’ #72 Featuring Punchline

There’s no escaping the DC juggernaut that is the ‘Joker War’, which is about to engulf all Bat-family titles including Nightwing #72. DC Comics have offered up an early look at this upcoming tie-in issue featuring everyone’s newest favourite femme fatale, Punchline which w’re sharing with you this morning. Striped of their lettering, these pages come across as slick and dynamic courtesy of artist Ronan Cliquet working from a Dan Jurgens script with colors provided by Nick Filardi. 

Dick Grayson has learned the truth: that “fixing” his identity lies with none other than Barbara Gordon. He must go to Gotham to find Batgirl-and runs into The Joker’s new henchperson, Punchline. Unlike Harley Quinn, Punchline’s deadpan black humor matches the deadly knives she uses on her victims…and for her next joke, Ric Grayson is the punchline.
