Mondo Release ‘Back To The Future’ Colored Vinyl LP, Pins And More To Celebrate 35th Anniversary
by Olly MacNamee
Back to the Future turns 35 this year and as part of the celebrations, Mondo Music are releasing the 1985 ‘Various Artists’ soundtrack album, featuring previously unreleased artwork from the legendary artist Drew Struzan, who did the original poster. The colored double LP included tracks by Huey Lewis and The News, Lindsey Buckingham, Eric Clapton, Etta James, Alan Silvestri, and more.
But, Mondo are better known for their screen prints, so they’re also offering up a brand-new limited edition poster exploring Hill Valley from artist Adam Simpson and three new enamel pins inspired by Back to the Future II, and a 1,000-piece DeLorean puzzle drawn from Laurent Durieux’s 2014 poster design. Quite the roll-out for this 80s sci-fi classic.
All items will be available on the Mondo webstore from 12 noon (CT).
