Preview: Wakanda Attacked In ‘Empyre’ #3 By Ewing, Slott And Schiti
by Olly MacNamee
There’s no regular Super Sunday line-up of previews today as we’ve still got one more day of Comic-Con@Home. So, we’re bringing you a more clipped set of previews looking at the forthcoming week of Empyre tie-ins starting with Empyre #3, the logical place to begin.
Here’s hoping Empyre gets better with this third issue, out Wednesday 29th July from Al Ewing, Dan Slott and Valerio Schiti. A good looking comic with a mediocre premise and script. But, I’m holding onto hope with both Slott and Ewing involved. So, here’s a preview of Empyre #3 and look out for my review to follow in the coming days.
“The tag-team action comes home! Wakanda is the battleground – as the Avengers and the FF unite to prevent a Vibranium-powered threat to all life as we know it! A long-lost Avenger returns to active duty – but will that be enough to turn the tide? And in space, interstellar intrigue threatens the fragile Kree/Skrull alliance…and the repercussions might just doom planet Earth!”
