Kodansha Delays ‘Shaman King’ Digital Releases

by James Ferguson

Kodansha USA Publishing has unfortunately had to announce the delay in the digital releases of Hiroyuki Takei’s Shaman King. This is in an effort to deliver the production quality the manga deserves and creating the best possible experience for fans. To help fans get the complete experience and to avoid spoilers and narrative confusion, the digital releases of the spin-off series Shaman King Zero, Shaman King: Flowers, Shaman King: Super Star, and Shaman King: Red Crimson will also be delayed.

No new release dates have been announced just yet, but ComiXology has it listed as December 31st, 2020. That’s probably a placeholder date. The print editions are still on track for delivery in 2021 and 2022.
