To celebrate the 15th anniversary of Svetlana Chmakova’s debut title, Dramacon, TOKYOPOP is releasing it with a new collector’s edition. It will feature over 600 pages of artwork with a brand-new cover design, plus a never before published glimpsed into Svetlana’s creative process.

Christie, an amateur writer and full-time fan, is attending her first anime convention with her artist boyfriend to promote the manga they created together! But when she unexpectedly falls for a mysterious cosplayer, things get a little… well… complicated. What do you do when the person you’re falling in love with is going to be miles away in just a matter of days and you might not see them for a whole year? Take a trip to Yatta Anime Convention, where laughter, heartbreak, drama and excitement come together!
Dramacon is one of TOKYOPOP’s most beloved manga series,” said Kae Winters, Marketing Associate at TOKYOPOP. “Svetlana is an incredibly talented storyteller and artist and we’re thrilled to be able to introduce a whole new generation of readers to her acclaimed debut work.”
Dramacon is set for release on September 13th, 2020. The 624 page softcover book will retail for $24.99. It’s currently available for pre-order at your local comic shop, bookstore, and Amazon.
