Young Heroes Of The Marvel Universe Rise Up In ‘Champions #1’ Trailer

Marvel Comics is relaunching Champions next month with a new creative team. Writer Eve L. Ewing and artist Simone Di Meo place the young heroes of the Marvel Universe in a new direction as they’re faced with a law prohibiting anyone under the age of 21 from being a vigilante. Did you think something like that was going to stop the Champions? Marvel released the below trailer revealing some never-before-seen artwork from the debut issue.

“I think individually and collectively the Champions are some of the coolest, most interesting characters in the Marvel Universe,” Ewing told Screen Rant earlier this year. “And I want to tell a story that’s worthy of them. For me the big challenge is working with an ensemble cast, trying to make sure that we tell a cohesive story while individual characters also have moments to shine.”
Champions #1 features a main cover by Toni Infante and a variant cover by Ron Lim. It’s set for release on October 7th, 2020.
