James Tynion IV Announces Second Issue Of His Sold Out ‘Razorblades’ To Drop Next Week

by Olly MacNamee

James Tynion IV’s latest newsletter has just dropped. In it we learn that the next issue of his sold-out self-published horror anthology imagine, Razorblades #2 will drop on Friday October 16th at 12pm (ET). I’m being exact on the timing on purpose, given how quickly his debut issue sold out.

Also in the newsletter we get a first look at some of the strips by Joshua Hixson, Marie Enger and David Romero. As well as this, we get news that the next issue will feature an interview between Zack Davisson and Gou Tanabe (At the Mountains of Madness).

Last time round Tynion IV only published 500 print copies of the magazine and promises a new system will be in place for the launch of the sophomore issue of Razorblades and described cryptically as a “game-changer”. But, you can still get a digital copy and pay-what-you-want.

New cover by Trevor Henderson for Razorblades #1 reprint

And, if you missed out on a never-to-be-reprinted first issue, then. look out for a second printing (wait, what now?) but with a new Trevor Henderson to get around that little loop hole. Coming soon from Tiny Onion. A name, and a brand, I get the feeling we’re going to see and hear a lot more about in the coming year.
