Back in 1983, deep into Chris Claremont’s run on The Uncanny X-Men, I first came across Paul Smith’s artwork and instantly fell in love with it. Supreme work, incredible line, a smoothness that I adore to this day.
And little old me, even at just 12 years old, could still tell that this is one amazing action sequence from Uncanny X-Men #173. And I look at it today and I still get that same old rush from it. It’s choreographed so wonderfully well, every motion, every angle that Smith shows is just perfection.
