Noah Hawley To Produce ‘Alien’ TV Series For FX

At long last, on Earth, everyone will hear you scream.
During the Disney Investor Day presentation on Thursday, FX president John Landgraff revealed the cable network is working on an Alien series with Noah Hawley and Ridley Scott in the producer seats. According to Landgraff, the series will merge the ss of Alien and the action of Aliens as the story finally comes to Earth.
A sizzle reel of the series was presented to investors, but was unfortunately unavailable to the general public.
Hawley has been linked to just about every genre property in recent months, with Alien joining that list recently. He soon dismissed the idea and reports suggested all of his geekier aspirations were falling by the wayside.
The series represents the increasing synergy between Disney and the 21st Century Fox assets it purchased last year. As one of the most iconic IPs in the 20th Century Studios stable, it is no surprise to see it happening. The speed at which it has become a reality, though, is amazing.
