‘Marvel Contest of Champions’ Celebrates 6 Year Anniversary

There’s more coming to Marvel Contest of Champions than John Mulaney’s Spider-Ham. December also marks the popular mobile game’s six-year anniversary. In order to celebrate the milestone, Kabam released a trailer entitled ‘Champions are Forever’.
Also, after a month of voting, the winner of the Summoner’s Choice contest has been revealed. After advancing past the three rounds, Hercules – Son of Zeus, and man of myth and legend – will be joining the arcade style fighting game. Look for the superhero to arrive in the summer of 2021.
Here is an interesting statistical breakdown on the title after its first six years.

- Crystals Opened: +29,000,000,000
- Incursions Teams Created: +28,000,000
- Runs of Abyss of Legends: +40,000
- Summoner Showdown Qualifier Attempts: +1,000,000
