‘Somnia’ Digital Comic To Be Published By eigoManga

The manga, Somnia, was originally released digitally on comiXology last spring. It received a surprising response with a perfect 5-star rating from over 245 readers and became a best-selling digital comic. Now, eigoMANGA hopes to bring the series from writer, Brandon Chen, and artist, Mohammad Umair Ali, to a wider audience when it will release the original English manga to bookstores in trade paperback form.

Somnia follows a teenager named Ren who is given a mystic lantern that makes dreams a reality. Ren discovers the lantern’s mysterious powers when he accidentally brings Jubei, a cyborg samurai, to life. Together, they are forced into a war between Dream-Walkers and monsters created from other people’s dreams. These enemies can grow stronger by consuming the nightmares of their victims.

Somnia is set to be released this April 28th, 2021 and will retail for $12.95. Preview pages can be seen below.
