‘Amazing Spider-Man’ #55 Gets Third Printing

Patrick Gleason’s now iconic cover for Amazing Spider-Man #55 has proven to be quite a hit. After selling out of a first printing, publisher Marvel Comics has announced the second printing has sold out too. A third is on the way with a new blue hued cover due out on March 10th, 2021.
It’s a little telling that this is the only recent issue of Amazing Spider-Man getting a multiple printing treatment. I have been pretty vocal about my feelings of the series as of late. I guess you can’t deny a great image and that’s definitely the case with Gleason’s shot.
