Review Round Up: All The Comic Book Reviews From The Past Week’s New Releases

by Olly MacNamee

Another busy week at Comicon HQ as we cracked the whip and cranked out a good array of reviews for various new comic books. All rounded up here for your perusal and pleasure.

Fellow Senior Editor James Ferguson gave us his thoughts on Image Comics’ Commanders in Crisis #5 here, as well as a review of The Amazing Spider-Man #59 here.

Scott Redmond took a look at Excalibur #18 here as well as AWA Upshot’s Mann’s World #2 here.

Tony Thornley dropped a review for S.W.O.R.D. #3 here and I found the time to not only look at Image Comics’ Home Sick Pilots #3 here, but also review E-Ratic #3 from AWA Upshot’s here and Fantastic Four #29 here, which suffers from a ‘King in Black’ crossover that I could have done without. And I’ve still got a pile of comic books to review ahead of next week’s new comic book drop too. It’s gonna be a busy weekend.

Playing catch-up with review posted this week that couldn’t be included in last Saturday’s round up, Brendan Allen reviewed two new debut issues. AfterShock’s new one, Maniac of New York #1 here and Image Comics’ Deep Beyond #1 here, which has already garnered a second printing.

Ten down, and plenty more to come over the coming days. So, do come back round gain and check in to see if your favourite book has been given a thumbs up or thumbs down from our team.
