Now Vault Comics Make A Global Distribution Deal With Simon & Schuster

It was only last week we brought you the news of a new distribution between Simon & Schuster and AWA Upshot. And now Vault Comics have one-upped this news with their own deal for a global distribution deal, beginning May 1st, 2021.
And, like the AWA Upshot deal, comic stores can still order their comics from Diamond Distribution. But, with this book publisher making distribution deals for distribution into book stores, can they be thinking of expanding to step on the toes of Diamond, I wonder? Or, will we see some kind of pivoting (surely the buzz word of the pandemic?) from the publishing giants and a push for more floppies in stores in the future? Or, am I wildly speculating?
Either way, it looks like Simon & Schuster will be getting more indie comics into book stores and that must be good for comics in the long run.
