‘Monster Mashup’ Delivers An Epic Public Domain Crossover On Kickstarter

Grit City Comics has hit Kickstarter for the second volume of Monster Mashup, an anthology assembling over 40 comic creators telling stories of public domain characters. The book clocks in at 172 pages and includes a total of 21 stories. It’s built upon the idea of classic monster mashups by combining a number of these public domain characters.
Creators include Matt McGrath, Julien Legault, Greg Smith, Aimee Dan, David Mair, Mike Roth, Thiva de Souza, Lettersquids, Andres Briano, Gaston Genser, Horacio Langlois, Nicholas Poonamallee, Jonathan Aleksey, John Lawry, Robert Wolinsky, Nicolo Arcuti, Erik Franklin, K.B. Houston, Saleha Chowdhury, Tim Burden, Alan Bay, Liz Y, Eddy Hedington, Jakub Sebi, Angel Lidon, Approtis, Phil Butehorn, Don Cardenas, Nicholas J. Rewards for the Kickstarter campaign include digital and physical copies of the first and second volumes of Monster Mashup. The campaign runs through April 14th, 2021.
