‘Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis’ Releases This June For Xbox And PC

Sega’s been feeding fans fairly consistently as far as information on the upcoming Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis, and now they’ve confirmed the game is releasing worldwide this June. In an hour long stream, Sega unveiled tons of new information including explaining more about the story, as well as information on an upcoming closed beta.
The closed beta will be available to users of the Xbox Insider App, with being being accepted on a first come, first-serve basis. The beta will run from May 14th to May 16th, with more information being offered on the Xbox blog. Players who participate in the beta will also receive additional special items when the game launches.
As for the New Genesis story, it takes place a thousand years after Phantasy Star Online 2. Players will be working together to battle against a threat known as DOLLS, enemies who appeared out of nowhere and have been making attacks on planet Halpha for decades.
Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis will be available on PC via Steam and the Epic Game Store as well as Xbox One.
