Geoff Johns and Gary Frank’s Geiger #1 and #2 have been sent back to the printers for additional printings. That’ll be a fourth printing for the freshman issue and a second printing for the sophomore follow-up. And out on Wednesday June 16th from Image Comics.
There’s no real way of spinning this out much further other than to remind you what this new post-apocalyptic series is all about:
“Geiger is set in the years after a nuclear war ravaged the planet where desperate outlaws battle for survival in a world of radioactive chaos. Out past the poisoned wasteland lives a man even the Nightcrawlers and Organ People fear. Some name him Joe Glow, others call him the Meltdown Man. But his name… is Geiger.”
Oh, and a word from Johns:
“Thank you to all the readers and retailers (and to everyone at Image!)! The whole Geiger team is incredibly grateful that so many people are checking out our first creator-owned book… and our doorway into a new universe.”
Right, I suppose we’d best leave you with a look at the new covers for both issues and bid you a fond farewell for now. Or until we hear news of the next sell-out success from Image Comics, that is.
