Filipino Horror Comic is Brought To Life in New Anime Series,’Trese’

Based off of the Filipino comic by the same name Trese is a new Netflix anime series follows Alexandra Trese as she tries to keep the peace in a world where dark supernatural forces pervade the criminal underworld. These types of supernatural shows follow a similar structure, so I’ll be curious to see how Trese is able to stand out. Judging by the trailer I think the show might appeal to fans of Castlevania and Seis Manos.
Trese will be streaming on Netflix June 10th.
