Will The Cowl Change Hands On Next Week’s ‘Batwoman?’

This preview for next week’s episode of Batwoman suggests Kate (Wallis Day) may take back the cowl from Ryan (Javicia Leslie). But considering her psyche is far from balanced, that may not be the best idea. Meanwhile, Black Mask (Peter Outerbridge) continues his campaign against Gotham City and it seems like Ryan’s living situation may not be what it once was.
As for this week, it’s nice to watch an episode where things happen. A pep talk with John Diggle (David Ramsey)! Kate (Wallis Day) realizing (at least partially) she’s Kate! Luke (Camrus Johnson) showing some emotion! Jacob (Dougray Scott) doing something right! Wrap all of that in Alice (Rachel Skarsten) showing the correct emotions for once and you get a pretty good episode. Also, we like the way everything is tying together with the Desert Rose back in Safiyah’s (Shivaani Ghai) hands and Tatiana (Leah Gibson) seemingly getting her comeuppance. Sure, Ocean (Nathan Owens) may not make it out of the season alive, but something has to motivate Alice’s rage next year, right? It’s not like she’s going to automatically turn into Beth in two weeks.
