Scout Comics Announces ‘Title Box Tuesdays’

by Brendan M. Allen

Scout Comics has announced a new weekly initiative called Title Box Tuesdays. Every Tuesday for the foreseeable future, Scout will release a limited edition box set of one of the titles in their catalog.

Today’s title box is The Mall, written by Don Handfield & James Haick III, with art by Rafael Loureiro.

‘This coming of age crime story takes place in a small Florida town at the height of the popularity of indoor malls. When the head of the Cardini Mob Family mysteriously dies, his three illegitimate children each inherit a store in the mall. While the stores front as legal businesses, the real money is in the illegal businesses. The kids are thrust into a world of crime, all the while just trying to survive normal high school life.’

Each deluxe title box will contain a complete set of comics. There’s a mystery element in each box offering that includes rare variants and out of print covers.  There’s also extremely rare Holofoil editions that can only be found within.

Along with the set of single issues you will also get a digital download/collectible card of each series in Scout’s new Comic Tag format. These limited edition collectibles look just like a mini comic book with a collectible card attached.

You can find Scout’s Title Boxes for purchase on their website here.
