Teyon Announces Story-Focused First-Person Shooter ‘RoboCop: Rogue City’

by Sage Ashford

Publisher Nacon and developer Teyon have come together to bring the classic 1980s hero RoboCop back in a new game called RoboCop: Rogue City. Set back in the universe’s setting of Old Detroit, RoboCop again seeks to protect his city. RoboCop: Rogue City will be a story-focused first-person shooter that develops the story based on the player’s own choices.

Not much is known about the game other than what the developer talked about in the game’s Steam overview:

“Become the iconic part man, part machine, all cop hero as you attempt to bring justice to the dangerous, crime-ridden streets of Old Detroit. Armed with your trusty Auto-9, factory-built strength, years of experience on the force and a variety of tools at your disposal, you will fight forces seeking to destroy the city you call home in an all new first-person, explosive hunt for the truth. You have the power to decide how to fulfill prime directives in your own way, but as the story unfolds proceed with caution because corruption and greed know no limits.”

RoboCop: Rogue City will release in 2023 for consoles and PC.
