Another short one this week. After all the sun’s out here in the UK and I want some of it! But, nevertheless, I’ve still rounded up five popular posts for your perusal:

  1. Brendan M Allen brought us another weekly summary of new story arcs and new titles coming out from comic book companies here.
  2. Ben Martin’s deep dive into The Fast and the Furious franchise continues apace here. with a look at Fast and Furious 6.
  3. And I brought you previews for the two Star Wars comics out that are currently embroiled in the ‘War of the Bounty Hunters’ storyline here.
  4. I also previewed the start of the Spider-Man ‘Sinister War’ launched in Sinister War #1 here.

Right, before I head off to catch some rays and sink some suds, I’ll leave you a little something extra and this wonder short CGI animated film I’ve been showing the kids I teach in this last week of school here in the UK:

Spring from writer/director Andy Goralczyk:

Spring about the story of a shepherd girl and her dog, who face ancient spirits in order to continue the cycle of life. This poetic and visually stunning short film was written and directed by Andy Goralczyk, inspired by his childhood in the mountains of Germany.
