AfterShock Comics Announces New Hirings And A New Livestream Show

AfterShock Comics is moving into streaming with the announcement of The AfterShock Happy Hour. Available on Facebook, YouTube and Twitch pages every other Thursday at 5:00 pm EST/2:00 pm PST, it will be hosted by Ruth Ann Thompson, AfterShock’s Senior Retail Relations Manager, as she interviews AfterShock creators and industry figures in a hour long show. Guest will include Steve Orlando, Steve Foxe, and Aaron Douglas and many more. Plus, each episode will also include a live sale of AfterShock rarities, exclusives, and graded comics unavailable anywhere else as an incentive to tune in.
As well as this new show, AfterShock also announced one new hire and one new promotion as well. First up is Kelly Diodati, will serve as Ambassador Outreach Program Manager, responsible for the day-to-day operation, workflow and management of AfterShock’s Ambassador Program.
And then there’s Teddy Leo, formerly editorial assistant with the company, will now serve as Associate Editor, directly supporting Editor-in-Chief Mike Marts on all aspects of the editorial process. Congrats to them both.
