BarCon #2: Comic-Con At Home Edition
by Brendan M. Allen
In this second edition of Comicon’s BarCon video series, Cullen Bunn and Brendan M. Allen kick around good, bad, and indifferent experiences surrounding BarCon, along with other events happening around comics (and flooring) cons, but not necessarily at the conventions themselves.
‘Brendan and Cullen Bunn discuss the phenomenon of BarCons at in-person comic conventions. While some believe they make for great networking, Cullen suggests that is not the case and offers some more fun after-con drinking alternatives. Password-protected speakeasies, century-old steakhouses, and a couple of chain restaurants all get high marks.’
