2K and Firaxis Announce New Tactical RPG, ‘Marvel’s Midnight Suns’

It’s been rumored for months that 2K Games and Firaxis, the developer responsible for XCOM, was developing an RPG based on Marvel characters. At Gamescom Opening Night Live, the title was finally confirmed: Marvel’s Midnight Suns. The title will be a tactical RPG featuring a wide variety of characters from across the Marvel Universe, including a new character known as The Hunter. The Hunter will be customizable and serves as a stand-in for the player, with a wide variety of abilities to fit the player’s playstyle.

The roster of characters includes Iron Man, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Wolverine and Magik, Nico Minoru, Blade, Dr. Strange, and Ghost Rider. In all the main game will have thirteen heroes that will come from multiple super-teams. More about the game below:

This trailer doesn’t have any looks at gameplay, but they plan to release more gameplay on September 1st. Marvel’s Midnight Suns will launch in March for PlayStation and Xbox consoles, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
