Those who were looking for Elden Ring in January are going to have to wait a little longer, as FromSoftware and Bandai-Namco have announced that Elden Ring will be pushed back from January 21st to February 25th. According to the Elden Ring Twitter account, “the depth & strategic freedom of the game exceeded initial expectations”.
The game’s delay comes with an announcement of a closed network test for players, starting on November 12th and running through November 14th for North America, and November 12th through November 15th for Europe and Japan. Players who are interested in registering for the closed network tests can find them available here. Registration should be done before November 1st.
Elden Ring launches for PC as well as Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
