SEGA Premieres A First Look At ‘Sonic Frontiers’
by Sage Ashford
During the Game Awards, SEGA premiered a first look at Sonic Frontiers, their upcoming Sonic game. This title was first announced during Sega’s Sonic 30th anniversary stream earlier in the year, but at the time it was just an announcement. This time around, a look at the world is given, though we’re still a ways from getting a look at gameplay.
While they’ve given no clue as to the story, the game bears a strong resemblance to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and takes place in the Starfall Islands, which will have plenty of different environments for Sonic to explore.
Currently, Sonic Frontiers is scheduled to release Holiday 2022 for PlayStation and Xbox consoles, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
