Harvey Guillén To Voice Nightwing In Season 3 Of ‘Harley Quinn’

Harvey Guillén is adding another comic book role to his resumé

Deadline reports the actor will lend his voice to Nightwing in Harley Quinn‘s upcoming third season. The animated series follows Harley as she moves on from the Joker (Alan Tudyk), forms friendships with unlikely rogues, and eventually finds a new romance with Poison Ivy (Lake Bell). The third season will see the pair on the road, so perhaps Guillén’s Nightwing will actually patrol the streets of Bludhaven instead of Gotham. Also, considering the show’s unique perspective on the heroes, it will be interesting to see what aspects of Nightwing it will emphasize — and we don’t just mean his fan-favorite posterior.

The part is Guillén second DC role to be revealed in as many weeks. He is also part of the upcoming Blue Beetle film in a key, but undisclosed role. It’s starting to feel like the DC arm of the WarnerMedia conglomerate — soon to be Warner Discovery — is finally courting a feeling of family and camaraderie with crossovers like these. As it happens, Peacemaker executive producer and primary writer James Gunn will also make a Harley Quinn appearance portraying himself in an episode we can only assume will parody DC’s storied and sometimes troubled life in the movies.

Harley Quinn returns sometime soon on HBO Max.
