Marvel’s Stormbreakers Depict The Universe’s Most Exotic Locales In New Covers

by Tony Thornley

We almost feel like Marvel’s rising stars, known as the Stormbreakers, need no introduction at this point. Their incredible work in the Marvel Universe is on its way towards iconic. This time, we get a series of covers featuring their stunning work and some of the fictional locales that make the Marvel Universe great.

Coming in May, four of the Stormbreakers artists, RB Silva, Carmen Carnero, Peach Momoko, and Natacha Bustos, bring to life some of Marvel’s most exotic locales in postcard style variant covers. Silva gives a breathtaking view of Wakanda. Carnero visits the mean streets of Madripoor. Momoko depicts the awe-inspiring Savage Land. And Bustos stuns with Doctor Doom’s Latveria.

“Congratulations to the 2020-2022 class of Marvel’s Stormbreakers artists!” Marvel Editor in Chief C.B. Cebulski said. “The work of all these titanic talents has been and will continue to be absolutely outstanding! I cannot tell you how excited I am to see what comes next for these eight incredible illustrators. And while this celebrated class may be drawing to a close, our Stormbreakers program isn’t going to end here.  A new class of industry-shaking talent is just around the corner, and I just can’t wait for you to see who’s next!”

The four covers are available throughout May and June. Be sure to pick them up from your favorite comics retailer!
