Dynamite’s Children’s Book Line Continues With ‘The Legion Of Forgettable Supervillains’

Ben Mondo is a young man from a family of storied superheroes. But his hero identity, Robust Boy, is proving to be something of a washout. Ben finds company with some of the other reject heroes, but nevertheless he wishes for the success his grandfather, Mr. Infinite, found back in the day. Of course, it all changes when a chance encounter with bank robbers turns him into a mysterious, yet photographed, villain.
That’s the prompt for The Legion of Forgettable Supervillains, the second children’s book from Dynamite Entertainment’s partnership with Curiosity Ink Media. The title, from author J.E. Bright with art from ComicUp charts Ben’s brush with infamy as he and his fellow reject heroes form the Forgettable Supervillains Society. They dedicate their newfound identities to mayhem, fortune, and fame — but their villainy may yet prove to save the world.
The 100+ page book is aimed at readers aged 8-12, but certainly sounds like an enjoyable family read. It is due out in specialty stores this June.
