Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Changes Release Date, Is Now Coming Out July 29th

Nintendo has announced that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will not be hitting its original date of September…because the game is being shifted up several weeks. The game’s new release date is now July 29th, announced at the end of a brand-new trailer featuring more information about the game’s world and characters.
In this new game, the protagonists are Noah and Mio, who are dealing with a growing conflict with the nation of Keves and Agnus. Noah will meet six other characters from these two nations, as well as others as they travel to the land of Swordsmarch.
The trailer shows off a few unique ideas for this game: one, that players will be able to fight in a party size of seven at maximum. They’ll also have the game’s Interlink system to rely on, which allows specific pairings of characters to combine to form giant beings known as Ouroboros, which all have their own moves. There’s also a class change system present, and each character will be able to change classes in the game, adding to the usual complex systems of a Xenoblade title.
