‘Sonic Origins’ Comes To Consoles And PC June 23rd

Sega is collecting the original 2D Sonic games and re-releasing them in Sonic Origins. Sonic Origins will collect Sonic the Hedgehog 1&2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and Sonic CD, digitally remastering all three for the new generation. The new collection will offer two main modes for all three games: classic mode and anniversary mode. Classic mode plays like the titles did on their original consoles, while Anniversary mode lets players play with a full screen display and with unlimited lives to keep playing forever.
The game will also have new animated openings and endings for all four games, along with new unlockable missions, and the ability to collect medallions to unlock content from the game’s vault.
Sonic Origins will be available for PlayStation and Xbox consoles, the Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
