Call of the Night is a supernatural slice of life anime series based on the manga by Kotoyama. When a lonely insomniac boy stops going to school and wanders the streets at night he meets a vampire girl named Nazuna Nanakusa. The series explores themes of romance and mystery as the boy is set on the path of becoming a vampire himself. While slice of life is usually the kiss of death in terms of my tastes, adding a low supernatural element has piqued my interest.
