‘Fire Emblem Engage’ Announced, Lets Players Summon Classic Fire Emblem Warriors
by Sage Ashford
During the latest Nintendo Direct, the latest entry in the Fire Emblem franchise kicked off the show, with Nintendo announcing Fire Emblem Engage. While Fire Emblem games usually aren’t tied together from entry to entry, Engage is doing things a little differently.
In the story of Engage, when four different kingdoms battle against a monstrous Fell Dragon, their only hope involves summoning warriors from other worlds. As the Divine Dragon, the player’s job will be finding special Emblem Rings to summon heroes from previous Fire Emblem games like Marth, Celica, Sigurd, and Lyn to help them in battle. Summoning these characters will merge the Divine Dragon’s appearance with them, and grant them special weapons and skills to aid in battle.
Fire Emblem Engage will release for Nintendo Switch January 20th.
